Shannon Sharpe reacted to a bombshell lawsuit accusing his former co-host Skip Bayless of sexually harassing a hairstylist at Fox Sports, implying that he had never seen Bayless do anything inappropriate and maintaining that he had not done anything wrong personally. During an episode of his and Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson’s podcast Nightcap, Sharpe was asked by a fan to address “the elephant in the room,” seemingly referring to the 42-page lawsuit first reported by Front Office Sports on Sunday. “That ain’t got nothing to do with me,” Sharpe said. “It doesn’t. What do y’all want me to say? That ain’t got nothing to do with me. So, there’s nothing to address,” he continued. “In those 42 pages, it doesn’t mention that Shannon Sharpe did anything. But y’all want to get clicks, so y’all mention me.” Filed by former Fox Sports employee Noushin Faraji, the suit alleges that Bayless made unsolicited sexual advances towards her and that he even once offered her $1.5 million for sex. Sharpe is not accused of any wrongdoing in the lawsuit, however he is mentioned in an instance where Bayless allegedly accused Faraji of having sex with him, which she stated never happened. Bayless and Sharpe’s relationship was famously marked by conflict, with the pair feuding both on and off camera while they hosted Fox Sports 1’s Undisputed. Sharpe ultimately left the show in June 2023.
